Speaker biography: Sheree (Bennett) Kullenberg
Sheree (Bennett) Kullenberg, Senior Advisor, Research & Evidence, International Rescue Committee, Germany
Sheree Kullenberg is a Senior Research and Evidence Advisor at The International Rescue Committee (IRC) where she leads the Evidence to Action team and the organization’s global strategy to increase the use of evidence strategic and programmatic decision-making. She supports technical and country program teams across the organization to identify, critically appraise and apply evidence in actionable and contextually appropriate ways. This includes making technical shifts or improvement and adapting country-level program portfolios based on best available evidence, cost data and contextual considerations. She has recently taken on leadership of the organization’s approach to bringing together research evidence, client perspectives and contextual information to improve program design and program quality. She previously held positions as a Research Advisor for Governance programs and then the Evidence to Action Advisor at the IRC. She has over 15 years of research and evaluation experience with a focus on the politics of service delivery, peace-building and participatory approaches to local development.
