Evidence maps have become popular in recent years as a way of portraying what evidence is available. Country evaluation
maps show all the evaluations of development interventions carried out in a specific country. This talk will provide a brief
history and overview of evidence mapping and present the Malawi country evaluation map which contains 576 project
evaluations. The primary function of the country evaluation map is to increase knowledge and accessibility of project
evaluations of development projects in Malawi. This map can be used by policymakers and researchers alike to understand
what development project evaluations have been done and where there is a need for more research.
