The WWGS 2019 was held in Mexico City, 16-18th of October, hosted by the Campbell Collaboration and CONEVAL. The WWGS will bring brought together over 500 policymakers, practitioners, knowledge brokers and researchers from all over the world (

CEDIL, a DFID-supported international research collaboration to identify and test innovative approaches to impact evaluation and evidence synthesis, hosted a workshop on Frontiers in evaluating causality as a one-day side event before the main summit, on Monday 14th of October.

This was an exciting opportunity to engage with some of the leading topics and thinkers at the frontier of impact evaluation.

Howard White (Campbell Collaboration and CEDIL Research Director) provided an update on the CEDIL vision and progress to date, with an overview of work that has been approved for funding.

Other speakers outlined thinking in some of the key areas of impact evaluation being developed by CEDIL.
